Colt Factory 1911 22LR Conversion Unit Parts Slide Barrel Post-WWII Ace Kit 22

Description: This is a Factory Colt 22LR Conversion Unit for the Model 1911. Included in this kit is the complete blued slide with its front and rear sights, firing pin, extractor, etc., the barrel assembly (two-part barrel with a “floating chamber”), slide-release lever; ejector; recoil-spring (there are actually 3 springs, we are not sure if they are different weight springs for this 22 Long Rifle conversion kit, or if they are for a 1911 in 45acp); the barrel bushing, the bushing wrench, the factory Colt 10-round 22LR magazine, all the parts as shown in the photos. No other parts than those shown in the photos are included. The parts are used, and appear to be in nice condition, but we are selling these as “for parts only” because -- as you can see in the photos -- someone crudely drilled the rear of the slide (probably to give clearance so the slide could be used on a Series 80 1911); it looks like it should still work OK, but the drilling is close to the extractor hole, so we are not sure about the long-term durability of what was done.
