Description: Company Info Southwest Cutlery & Manufacturing Company, an old knife company, incorporated in 1947 was a cutlery and pocket knife maker. No doubt thru their knife handles division, they got the idea and created the Pointer Pup gun grips in assosciation with William Murad. Operating out of the Los Angeles California area City of Montebello was an old competitor of Fitz and Franzite, in the 1950s- 70's. In my opinion Pointers , the originals made with solid resins are the superior of the three, with a much more solid and authentic feel to them. During the western revival period of the 1950-60's there were there were original grips for first generation Great Western Revolvers. Seen adorning the handles of many movie guns, they looked great in technicolor. They last seemed active in 1979, and dissolved as a corporatation. This is for a pair of LIGHTLY USED, POINTER PUP Gun Grips made by W. Murad of San Carlos, California, Revolver Stocks made from hard plastic/rubber - feels like a bakelite almost. (not thin plastic). These are a rarer BROWN Color, and actually resemble Bakelite They are marked with his stamp &COLT "202" Installation is simple, with no modifications to your gun needed.
