Description: They are adjustable in three ratios: 90/10, 80/20 and 60/40, Shocks have an extended length measuring 14.1" and a compressed length of 9", These shocks are specially designed to allow the racer to dial-in the race car to meet changing track conditions, The rear shocks work in conjunction with our front shocks making the transition from initial launch to top end charge as smooth as possible, You can quickly change the valve setting by simply compressing the shock fully and rotating the shaft until the indexing notch mates with the desired setting on the body Competition Engineering C2600 Adjustable Drag Shock Sku # 54532600 Mfr. Part # C2600 Condition New Brand Competition Engineering Sold Each Details Info Competition Engineering’s 3-Way Adjustable Drag Shocks are designed to allow the racer to dial-in the race car to meet changing track conditions. Shock valving plays a very important role in the way your car will perform both during initial launch and throughout the quarter mile. The principle behind Competition Engineering's shock absorber design is to allow the front end of the race car to rise rapidly upon initial launch, creating greater weight transfer and better traction to the rear tires. As the car travels down the track, the front end will gradually descend to its ride height without unloading the rear tires which is a major cause of wheel spin. Our rear shocks work in conjunction with our front shocks making the transition from initial launch to top end charge as smooth as possible. Competition Engineering’s Front Drag Shocks are adjustable in three ratios: 90/10, 80/20 and 60/40. These ratios reflect the percentage of force required to extend and compress the shock absorber. You can quickly change the valve setting by simply compressing the shock fully and rotating the shaft until the indexing notch mates with the desired setting on the body. It’s as simple as twist and click. The Rear Drag Shocks are also adjustable in three ratios: 70/30, 60/40 and 50/50. These ratios also represent the percentage of force required to compress and extend the shock unit. Only this time, the first number is compression and the second extension. These shocks also adjust by compressing them fully and rotating to the desired setting on the body.Monotube designAdjustableSold each Application This Part Fits BUICK Apollo 1973 - 1975 Century 1973 - 1981 GS 1970 - 1972 Regal 1978 - 1988 Riviera 1971 - 1978 Skyhawk 1975 - 1980 Skylark 1968 - 1972 Special 1968 - 1969 CHEVY Camaro 1967 - 1969 Chevelle 1968 - 1972 Chevy II 1968 - 1968 El Camino 1968 - 1972 El Camino 1978 - 1987 Malibu 1978 - 1983 Monte Carlo 1970 - 1972 Monte Carlo 1978 - 1988 Monza 1975 - 1980 Nova 1969 - 1979 S10 1982 - 2004 Vega 1972 - 1977 DODGE Dakota 1987 - 1992 Ram 50 1983 - 1993 OLDSMOBILE Cutlass 1968 - 1972 Omega 1973 - 1979 Starfire 1975 - 1980 PONTIAC Astre 1975 - 1977 Bonneville 1982 - 1986 Firebird 1967 - 1969 Grand Prix 1969 - 1988 GTO 1968 - 1972 LeMans 1968 - 1972 Specs Sold in Quantity Each Shock Type Mono Tube Upper Shock Mount Stud Lower Shock Mount Tie Bar Shock Body Material Steel Shock Body Type Smooth Shock Body Size Small Body Compressed Length 9 Body Diameter 1.63 Position Front Compressed Length Range 9.00" to 9.99" Extended Length Range 14.00" to 14.99" Shock Adjustability 3-Way Adjustable MFG.
