Description: This beautiful essentially as new Conde Hermanos guitar was purchased by me during a trip to Spain in 1994. It was at the original Gravina 7 shop. I spent a long time at this shop looking at the available guitars and found initially none that were really fitting my exacting needs. Then one of the staff went upstairs and came down with this absolutely magnificent example of the luthier’s art! It has one of the best looking spruce tops that I have seen, the back and sides of Spanish Cypress are beautiful and the rosette is one of Conde’s classics. Standard ebony fretboard. The string height at the 12th fret low E string (1st) =2.8 mm (from top of fret to mid string), and high E string (6th) =2.7mm. The scale length is 667 mm. It plays easily without any aberrant string sounds! The marvelous flamenco tone is exactly as expected in all registers. It has been in a humidity controlled environment and played occasionally. There are absolutely no defects. It has been fitted with a new set of D’Addario, composite core EJ45C strings (using the composite extra string for the 3rd string). It will be shipped in a good standard guitar case that is then placed into a guitar box filled with shock absorbing chips, at my expense. Price revised 1/27/2023.
