Description: Contax Carl Zeiss Distagon 18mm f/4 extra wide angle lens. Serial #5807240. Made in Japan. Fits all Contax 35mm SLR cameras such as: Contax RTS, RTS II, RTS III, 167MT, Aria, ST, RT and Contax S2. This lens can also be used on Canon EOS film or digital camera's with proper adapter that is not included. Great lens to use on most other mirrorless digital cameras with the proper adapter. Lens uses 67mm filters. Aperture range is f/4 - f/22. Minimum focus distance is 12 inches or 0.3 meter. Lens is Mint- or 9.5 of 10 cosmetic condition. No dings or dents. Nice very clean lens with almost no signs of use. Clean glass. Nice T* multicoating with small about 1/8" spot in the coating near the edge of the lens under the word "Carl" on the front(see photos). This spot is near the edge of the lens and should not affect on your photos. This lens is being sold AS-IS because of this spot in the lens coating. Smooth and clean aperture blades.
