The basic Convert-A-Ball system shank comes to fit in either a 3/4" hole or a 1" hole in your bumper or ball mount. Each shank comes with a lock washer, cotter pin and nut. The interchangeable ball systems are built for towing safety. The pin is NON-REMOVABLE to prevent improper hook-ups or accidental disconnects. The 2-5/16" ball is manufactured specifically NOT to fit on a 3/4" shank. Do not try to force the ball onto the shank.
