Turrets on both army vehicles rotates 360 degrees and cannons raise and lower. Plastic trends on Centurion Mark III tank rotate as well as the wheels on the Saladin Armored Car. Introduced in January 1945, it is widely considered to be one of most successful post-War tank designs, remaining in production to 1962, and seeing combat into 1980s. It was a very popular tank with good armor, mobility, and a powerful 105 mm cannon, along with two machine guns. Tank weighed 50 tons. It entered combat with British Army in Korean War in 1950 in support of UN forces. Between 1946 and 1962, 4,423 Centurions were produced, consisting of 13 basic marks and numerous variants. Centurion became one of most widely used tank designs, equipping dozens of armies around the world, with some in service until 1990s. In British Army it was replaced by Chieftain and Conqueror main battle tank.Centurion later served on Indian side in Indo-Pakistan War of 1965, and it served with Royal Australian Army in Vietnam War. Israel's army used Centurions in 1967 Six-Day War, 1973 Yom Kippur War, 1978 South Lebanon conflict, and 1982 Lebanon War. Royal Jordanian Army used Centurions, first in 1970 to fend off a Syrian incursion within its borders during Blank September events and later in 1973 Golan Heights. In 1973. South Africa used its Centurions in Angola during South African Border War.]Designed in 1954, FV601 Saladin is a six-wheeled armored car built for British Army. Vehicle weighed 11 tons, offered a top speed of 72 km/h, and had a crew of three. Saladin was noted for its excellent performance in desert conditions and found favor with a number of Middle Eastern armies. It was armed with a 76 mm low-pressure rifled gun. Despite vehicle's age and dated design, it is still in use in a number of countries in secondary roles.
