Description: Electric Music For the Mind and Body-Country Joe and The Fish (1967 Vanguard) Original Mono pressing.I could make a good case this is THEE 1967 San Francisco major label psychedelic release that all are measured against. Its neck and neck with Surrealistic Pillow and in my opinion just above the Grateful Dead's debut. It's true psychedelia in every sense of the word with Section 43 being a lysergic classic. One of the most true psychedelic records that still remains affordable these days. The vinyl grades a high end of VG++ and is downgraded only due to a couple of extremely light marks that do not affect play. I am very finicky about awarding a NM to anything that doesn't look perfect but this one comes pretty close. The luster and shine of the record is beautiful. The jacket is VG+(+) with only a punch hole at the bottom left and very light wear on the seams. The photos don't even reveal the beginning of ring wear on the front or back jacket. The are some weird marks near the spindle on the label that are barely discernible at first glance. I can't figure out what made them! Only the most obsessed with perfection will ever have to upgrade this copy.I grade very conservatively and have been collecting and selling records for over 40 years so you can be assured your purchase will be accurately graded and packaged properly to ensure safe arrival of the item.
