Description: Handmade leather Cow's Knee rain cover for your flintlock rifle. I make these out of tooling leather instead of the thin, floppy leather many of the mass produced ones are made from. My design offers easy installation, and removal is just a matter of grabbing the top and pulling up. The strap will pull out of the loop easily but is in there tight enough to not slip out on it's own while walking through the woods. This design covers the complete lock. It is hand dyed brown (I can also do black upon request) and all stitching is double hand stitched with high strength artificial sinew. This one covers small locks. For size reference the pictured rifles are an old Pennsylvania rifle by Traditions and the canoe gun is an Italian made Jaeger rifle imported by Armi-Sport. I currently don't have any muskets or other rifles in my collection that would have a large lock so I don't know how the fit on one of those would be, so these are being advertised for smaller and medium locks.
