Description: Really nicely preserved fossil cockroach from the lower Cretaceous Crato formation of Brazil. Bug measures about 1/2 inch on a nearly 3 inch by 3.25 inch piece of matrix. Great color to the insect providing a good contrast to the lighter colored matrix. The stand and wooden cube are not included. The wooden cube is for a size comparison as the cube measures 1 cm on each side.
