THIS PAPER BACK BOOK IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR ITS AGE BUT HAS MINOR FLAWS, see below. Two titles about Crispy, this one & Crispy in No Place Like Home were packaged on the back of the Crispy Critters cereal boxes. The third title Crispy's Bedtime Book was only available through the mail. The stories use character animal shapes found in the cereal. The Crispy Critters cereal band is enjoying a picnic breakfast of Crispy Critter cereal when they realize someone is watching them. I turns out to be a young squirrel by the name of Acorn B. Tree-Dweller who decides to join in the fun things the band has planned for the day. Crispy suggests Acorn tell his mother what he will be doing but he declines. Before long it is getting dark & Acorn heads for home but quickly realizes he is lost. He returns to the band who promise to help him in the morning. As they try to cheer up Acorn, they sing Home on the range which prompts each of the critters to talk about their home which, of course, makes Acorn all the sadder. Soon they hear a rustle in the tree which is made by a pair of very concerned squirrels, Acorn's parents. Marks: No name, tape or writing on pages or covers; back cover has very light & small discolor marks & above the illustration what looks like kimon & a very light vertical scribble. Tears: None Corners: Page are square; top corners are like new while bottom have very slight bends to tips. Cover have very minor scuffs to tips & very, very minor color loss & bottom front had several partial bends. Binding: Very, very tight, binding has some color loss especially to spine edges + minor color loss to spine corners. Covers: Front is very good save a slight bend 2" in from bottom right corner, it runs through the goat & rhinoasuras. Back has the marks noted above & very minor color loss especially a vertical white line at top. This seller accepts PayPal. A Media Mail shipping fee of $4.63 will be charged for this book.
