Description: Crocoite, Red Lead Mine Dundas Tasmania 50*25*20mm. A no frills representative specimen of this rare mineral with with typical colour and crystal form on usual goethite or limonite matrix. Good for a collector wanting a sample of this rare mineral without getting fancy. Mined by me in May. Note that this is a fragile mineral and small crumbles may dislodge from the specimen even with the best packing. In most cases the postage costs more than one specimen, but I can invoice and combine post on multiples.
