Description: DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION Up for sale are two vintage Crosby Hotel bars of soap. The hotel is located in Beaumont, Texas. It was apparently first known as Crosby House and then Crosby Hotel, and after ownership by Hageman and Kidd and several more owners, it became the New Crosby by 1947. The soap bars have the name Colgate-Palmolive-Peet Co. on the packaging. Colgate used this name from 1928 until 1953 when the Peet was dropped from the name.They are unused but do show some signs of aging and damage to the wrappers. Please review the photographs and email me if you have any questions or want additional photographs. I mainly sell used older items including antiques, collectibles and oddities so please expect some signs of wear from use. I will identify or describe any unusual or notable wear and damage in the description of the item or in the photographs but please email me if you have specific concerns I have not addressed.
