Description: 2004 compilation from the San Francisco-based Psychedelic Rock band. Overshadowed by their more successful San Fran compadres like Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane, Moby Grape were often better at blending Folk, Blues, Country and Rock 'N' Roll than anyone else in the '60's. Based around eccentric singer/songwriter Skip Spence (formerly of Jefferson Airplane), Moby Grape were destined for bigger and better things, but Spence's emotional instability and bad management problems made sure that the band didn't survive past the late '60's.
