This locomotive was conveyed to the Delaware & Hudson on April 1, 1976 and then on to Guilford, whose paint is shown here Very unusual to see a CSX unit in this scheme -- I doubt if it remained like this very long. Also, this beautifully lit slide with excellent lighting shows the less-often seen uncoupled long hood. This 36-year old original Kodachrome was taken with a professional lens -- the sharpness is exceptional. I have attempted to portray the slide as it appears without any enhancement.
