As such the Valck/Schenk firm gained an absolute monopoly in globe-making and selling that were sold throughout the 18th c. Made by an anonymous engraver after Francesco Albani. Condition: Very good, given age. Bottom left corner slightly remargined, not effecting plate or image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling.
