Jere' Flying Crane wall sculpture in three parts.The left sculpture has three birds and measures 13 3/8" in height, 10" in width and 6" in depth. The center sculpture has seven birds and measures 22 3/8" in height, 17" in width and 6" in depth. The third sculpture has three birds and measures 16 3/8" in height, 10 1/2" in width and 6" in depth.In gently used condition with some wear and scratches typical of a vintage piece. As seen in the photographs, rustication appears where some of the ivory colored enameling has chipped. The eyes and beaks were originally hand painted and most has worn off. Originally the three sculptures were hung on a multiple arc wire support which would have been signed "C. Jere" and dated. The under support has been lost.C. Jere' or Curtis Jere' was a metalwork company of wall sculptures and household accessories crafted by Artisan House founded in 1963 by Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels. The products were originally merchandised through Raymor in New York City and Gump's in San Francisco. The factory was noted for providing employment for handicapped and minority artisans.
