Custom 3D printed back upgrade cover for X Transbots Monolith

Description: This is a custom made, 3D printed and painted piece to enhance X transbots Menasor. Covers up the back cavity so you can display Gravestone separately. You must remove the trailer hitch assembly and the two rear grey panels that would cover Gravestone. This then attaches to the mounting points where those pieces were removed. Includes the 3D printed and painted cover. Toy shown for reference only and is not included. A couple disclaimers now: This is a 3D printed resin piece. 3D printed resin is very, very brittle. It does NOT have the strength, nor the durability, of injection molded plastic. So you must be VERY careful handling and installing this. And if you drop it onto a hard floor, it will almost certainly crack into pieces. Furthermore, it is hand painted with uncured spray paint. So the paint is quite susceptible to marking and scuffing. It can happen even just handling. So bear that in mind. In fact, there will be small imperfections just from me handling it while post-processing and painting. And due to the nature of 3D printing, there will be small imperfections in the print in general. With that in mind, most of these imperfections will not be noticeable from normal viewing distances in your display. I just want folks to be aware. Another thing to be aware of with this particular piece: it makes use of screws. Resin is generally not recommended to be drilled and tapped, or used with hardware, due do the aforementioned brittleness. I sized the holes larger to compensate. While that should mitigate stress, it will make it much easier to strip the holes. So DO NOT over-tighten the screws. Turn them only until resistance is felt, then stop. If you tighten them anymore than that, you WILL strip the holes, possibly even cause a crack. If this does happen, resin does accept super-glue pretty well. A crack can be mended, a stripped hole could be filled and re-drilled. Carefully. I have other items for sale, and will combine shipping. Add the items to your cart then checkout.
