Description: Excellent Custom High Quality Bespoke Preamp - Line Stage. Moving to an apartment. Need to clear my shelves. 37 tube. Minimalist Purist Line-Stage Preamp. Out of the 250+ preamps, i have tried/owned, this would be in my top 10. Good preamps are very hard to find. This offers 4 line inputs. 2 outputs. Hefty unit - about 25 pounds. Good cosmetics and perfect operating condition. Never had a single issue. This was made by an accomplished audio engineer (Jose Martin) for personal use -- see the cunning clean layout. I maybe able to dig up schematic (not sure). The 37-tube is a sleeper beauty. Some people say because of its curves its like 6sn7. But to me, this particular unit offers a more ethereal presentation than any of the 6sn7 preamps I have tried. If the 6sn7 can be compared to the kt88, then this implementation of the 37 is similar to a hypothetical combination of el34 & 300b. Needless to say, very musical. This unit offers 95% of my over-top-bespoke-$$$$ preamps. It sits in the space occupied by don-sachs and nick-doshi - offering flowing musicality with reliable intelligent engineering . If i can find my stash of spare 37 tubes , i will throw in an extra brace Will be . double-boxed, packed well --please tolerate the time needed to find right packing material. Note. Ignore brand-name on face-plate.Since this is a custom unit with no real reputation ---> I will offer returns -- less 20% re-stocking fee -- this assumes a 3 day return and same-condition arrival.
