For reference this has "DIY crate" hand written on it in small text.This has the features of a wooden crate without requiring nails/screws/tools/exertion to open and close. It also packs down flat for shipping empty. This is ideal for repeat instances of shipping similar items or for getting your crate back and reusing it. You will eventually save on the time and expense of building a new crate each time. This is for shipping those items that are either too fragile or too heavy for a corrugated box but don't call for a wood crate. This can also reduce overall shipping costs at about half the weight of wood yet this is the full strength of wood.This requires no tools. This assembles and breaks down in minutes. This also allows you to place the item on the flat center panel and then assemble the crate around it.This also happens to have a big advantage with international shipping. Since it's not classified as a wooden crate it isn't subject to ISPM export regulations. if you ever needed to do it, this passes through customs as a cardboard box!
