Description: This a collection of 103 copperplate engravings, most hand colored, assembled into a fine binding by a private collector during the late 18th Century. These plates were originally produced in their individual volumes circa 1824-1825. These are beautiful plates with bright paper and vibrant colors. They are primarily mammals, but there are also a handful of native, skeletal, birds, insects, squid, insect and fish offerings. Please examine the photos closely for condition, but this is an amazing collection of plates only in a good condition binding. No text at all inside. Book Measures c. 10" H x 6 1/2" W.
