Description: Simple setup for this rear-wheel bicycle trainer attachment. Thumbscrew adjusts bolt for position for different wheel diameters. Rear axle is mounted in the adjustable clamps. The front wheel rest is not absolutely essential, but helps avoid sliding around in use. (This piece retails for about $30 when sold separately.) It converts "any" adult road bicycle into a stationary bike for indoor miles when weather conditions do not allow outdoor riding. Not as good, but better than NO miles. Resistance is NOT adjustable, except from your weight on back tire and gear adjustment. Fluid resistance chamber on left gets warm, as your energy is converted to heat. The fan on right side disperses that, and also provides a breeze up your back (as pointed out in one of the You-Tube videos about this device).
