Description: For your consideration are 6 vintage EPIAG Springer & Co., Pastelle pattern dinner plates. The dinner plate measures approximately 10” in diameter. According to my personal research, Czechoslovakia was a sovereign state from 1918 until it split into the Czech Republic and Slovakia in 1993. EPIAG was an association of different potteries put together by the Austrian Government in 1918 to promote the sale of Bohemian pottery and porcelain. The EPIAG mark began to be used in either 1920 or 1922 depending upon internet source. The “arm” mark belonged to Springer& Co, one of the members of the EPIAG association. Springer & Co of Elbogen in Bohemia was founded in the 1880s and went out of business in 1945. From this information, we are aging this EPIAGE “Pastelle” pattern to have been manufactured between 1922 and 1945. This china has normal wear andtear with some loss to the gold on the rim, which should be expected due to itsage. Shipping is $19.36 through FedEx. within the continental United States. There are other pieces to this China set are separately listed.
