To this day I refer to this reel as "Dads Old Time Favorite"...but make no mistake...it'll serve you just as well as it did him, as there are NO Plastic Drive Gears inside (everything is metal) unlike the Levelwinds made today. It's very much like comparing a 1964 Mustang to one made today...no Comparison since the 64 Stang was made with QUALITY!!!
