Description: I believe that this is an early reprint of the last printing of The Daily Citizen Newspaper of Vicksburg Miss. from July 2, 1863. The paper is printed on the back of a sheet of colorful wallpaper. The top of the paper is marked in German - Beilage zum "Republifaner" (addition to Republifaner). The last paragraph begins - "Two days brings about great changes. The banner floats over Vicksburg.... The paper has several spots of loss along it's edges. The wallpaper side has various old tape repairs. Please see the photos for details. The wallpaper pattern is a floral like design in red, white and beige on a light beige background. It is marked in the corner - G.M. & A. 325. The paper measures 19 1/2" x 11". A nice early reprint of this Confederate Civil War newspaper. Thanks for looking. Don't forget to see my other listings. Shipping will be combined for multiple purchases. Please e-mail any questions and see my other auctions.
