Dalzell Gilmore EAPG 9 1/4" Pressed Glass "Alexis" "Priscilla" Bowl 1880's

Description: Here is a large pressed glass bowl in the "Alexis" or "Priscilla" pattern made in the 1888-1900. It was made by Dalzell Gilmore & Leighton Company of Fildlay, Ohio. The bowl is fluted with a rounded arch top. On each flute is a circle with rays or lines around each circle (moon) with a star on the top and bottom of the moon. The rim is scalloped to conform to the ribbing. The bowl is extremely heavy weighing over 3 pounds without any packaging materials. It is about 3 1/2" in height x 9 1/4" in diameter. It is in beautiful antique condition with minor utensil marks on the bottom. Normal wear for something this old. Please look at the pictures to see the beauty of this little gem. Thanks for looking.
