I acquired this 20 + years ago from a knowledgable troll collector of 60's era trolls and they also did not know its origin or story but thought the costume was original. They called it the Wizard. The outfit has many of the characteristics of a factory made outfit for Iggy or 11-12 in Dam Establishment Trolls. The outside seam of one leg of the pant and one under seam of the short sleeve and side is velcro. Much of the stitching on the blouse especially and also the cape appears professionally done. However there are some parts that to me do not appear to be factory made. Altho the pants and shirt have the velcro closures, the shirt pockets and buttons look factory but I found a few areas where it appeared hand stitched. And the little detail on the shoulders and little emblem on the rt front of the cape appear to be either added later or were part of the costume when made but not in a commercial setting. It has not been played with, has a few little spots/stains but otherwise really beautiful. The troll itself is gorgeous and clean and without damage or hair loss or fading. There is a light reddish mark under his chin that could be from a pen mark ...its is light and hard to notice. The cape is lined and decorated and stunning. One side of the cape appears to have been made to fold back. So, that is what I can add about this very unusual troll. ***Please feel free to msg me with questions. The costume is very intricate and very beautiful. There is a very small spot on the rt front side of the cape and a faded pencil mark looking mark on the back of the cape, otherwise the costume looks almost new and never laundered ....no fading, really beautiful. I had it in a plastic case with no light exposure or dust exposure so it is really nice. The hair is amazing and I love its tossled look! ---Please look at all photos and zoom in.
