Composed and recorded during the eventful past year, Conversation Peace is asintellectually engaging as is musically and creatively entertaining. Following a string ofcollaborative albums in the past few years including his jazz album Ocean Bridges with ArchieShepp & Raw Poetic, Conversation Peace marks the Fudgemunk's first official solo album since2017. Several guest appearances from Blu, Raw Poetic, Nitty Scott and Insight offer additionalpersonality and perspective throughout 40 plus minutes. Combined with material from KPM,Damu’s personal production library and live instruments, the palette for this work offers a rangeof textures, tempos, vibes and grooves.
