The slipcase is intact with no real edge damage, but the orange paper does show dusty grime especially on top. The label is intact. Inside this case, the boards are aged and have a slight older smell (not musty). The cloth covers of all three volumes have sun aging on the spines so they appear grayish. The top of the spine on Vol I. has some smudging. The spines and corners are sharp. The titles on the spines are still sharply printed. All edges of the hardcovers are aged with light toning, age spots, and dusty dirt on top, as shown in photos. The spines are beautiful and square with a minor shift viewed from the top on Book I. Inside, the books are clean, tight and flat with no damaged pages. End papers are quite clean. This set will be mailed with extra care and insurance.
