Description: Little Yellow Tobacco Seed Little yellow is a dark air cured burley tobacco variety that dates back to the early 1900's. It is a heirloom strain and 100% authentic. It was traditionally grown for cigarettes and snuff making. It's thick eaves are also great for long cut chew and hand rolled cigarillos. Little Yellow is not grown commercially on modern farms as it has not been genetically modified for larger leaf size. What is does produce is some of the best QUALITY leaf you will ever taste. As the name implies this tobacco is air cured, not requiring the complicated process of kilning. This is great for the small home grower. Whether you are growing Little Yellow for cigarettes, cigar filler, or chew, it will not disappoint. This tobacco is medium bodied in flavor with high nicotine content. As it's leaves are spaced further apart than some other strains, this allows each leaf to get more sun which results in thicker, more flavorful leaves. Plants are medium sized, standing 5-6 feet tall. Leaves are also medium, averaging 14"X24" and dark green. Leaves will air cure in 4-6 weeks to a dark chocolate brown. Flavor is robust and sweet with that unique Dark Air Cured flavor. A delicious old world tobacco. Each lot will contain over 1,000 seeds and includes basic growing instructions.
