It also supports e-mail and SMS sending. The modem uses the 2G GPRS band. Therefore it operates anywhere, even in case of low signal strength. The module powers-up with externally supplied 12V or 24V DC. It connects to Datakom odules through RS-232 serial port. The baud rate is automatically detected and adjustable through master modules. The programming of DKG-090 is done through the master module. The modem itself does not require any programming and is directly compatible with all below listed Datakom modules.
