Vernon, etc. The first two editions of this had a frontispiece portrait of Washington, but this has been replaced by an allegorical frontispiece depicting Washington has a huge rock that stands firm against the elements (there must have been some copyright dispute about the use of Washington's image, is our guess). Not a bad copy. Good.
