Description: For your consideration, Dr4 Watches has on offer a beautiful, rare and very substantial De Grisogono Doppio Chronograph dial with an impressive stainless steel bracelet. This is a very premium watch for a collector or watch enthusiast who values impressive complications, collectibility due to rarity & scarcity and likes to feel a luxury timepieces on the wrist. Probably best suited for somebody who has or appreciates fine engineering and say a Mercedes Benz "G-Wagon." This ridiculously cool timepiece comes with a factory bracelet and an exceptionally nice after-market black pebble grain strap. This strap allows for a wrist larger than 7+3/8" wrist will bringing a stunning black and rose gold luxury aesthetic that ties in nicely with the dial. Of course we are bringing the best value on the internet because we tirelessly source our inventory and inspect very closely upon receipt for quality and authenticity. We are extremely thorough in our listings and we still absolutely encourage questions regarding the timepieces. If you have questions regarding the specifications, provenance, history, etc., no problem. Just ask if you have a question! We only deal in 100% real watches because reputation is critical for us and in this industry in particular. We always have the inventory in our possession. We do not do the broker thing. The condition of this watch is as follows: Excellent condition. Because we only want timepiece customers who are delighted with their purchase, we strive to add some additional insight to help you make a great timepiece decision. With that in mind, some additional considerations about this watch include: 1. This timepiece is likely the only one for sale in the world (at any given minute in time) as the productions numbers were very low. A true "rare bird" of extreme engineering from the house of Di Grisogono. 2. De Grisogono, a brand not as well known in the USA, punched well above its weight in terms of quality and luxury design. This one is a compliments and conversation magnet. And you get a Swiss luxury jewler, founded in 1993, that made timepiece from a company that carved out an over-the-top cool luxury innovator space for timepieces in the 2000-2020 time frame. Timepieces from De Grisogono of Geneve frequently had diamonds integrated into the dial, casing and bracelets and were offered up to the truly rich at premium prices. 3. This is a heavy and substantial timepiece for a myriad of reasons that we will unpack. With a 55mm length lug-to-lug and a height of over 17mm, this is a definite man's "CEO" kind of watch. The bracelet is also quite heavy, fantastic, substantial and interesting as you can see. The bracelet will currently fit up to a 7+3/8" wrist (snug). I can see this working on a variety of a substantial straps and other heavy bracelets to add versatility to this awesome timepiece. Let's get into the cool functionality and design elements that make this timepiece heavy, well-engineered and fantastic. 4. You have two sepearate dials diven with an impressive mechanical modified singla barrel timekeeping movement in this case. The chronograph and "big date" dial is the more complex side with a traditional chronograph (pushers on the right side for start/stop and reset). Note that the big date is nicely framed and takes a prominent position at 12 o'clock. The rose gold colored indices and hands are striking over the black layered and impressively masculine dial. 5. It is worth calling out again that this timepiece features two Swiss Automatic movement driven dial and timekeeping display options. To get to the second dial, one unscrews the holding crown at 12 o'clock and then pivots and flips the dial over... and then screws downs the holding crown. Impressive engineering and quite substantial. It is more conspicuous as a party trick than say JLC's flip on their various reverso models which accomplishes a similar two-sided trick more subtly. This De Grisogono does not do "subtle!" 6. The second dial is a beautiful, interesting kind of partial skeleton dial. It is the more refined side. I have used it as a "home time" dial when I travelled but the buyer may want to align both dials to the same time zone. Perhaps use the chronograph for day-time and the skeleton for night (or vice-versa...). And this second dial follows the same gorgeous black dial and rose gold indicies and hands design language. Very prominent is the outward bound, dial front oscillating rotor which proudly proclaims "Instrumento Doppio." One can see bits of other elements of the automatic movement through the partially skeletonized dial on this side as well. 7. Note that there is a nice solid caseback against the wrist. The flip dials and movements nestle into the case but the caseback remains solid regardless of which dial is featured on the front. 8. These were a very small production run timepiece reference from De Grisogono of Geneve. And they sold out quickly. Note that there is a slightly more common, less premium Doppio GMT (GMT on one side and regular dial on the other --- no chronograph) which is also quite cool but less valuable than this chronograph complication reference. 9. A small cardboard box and cool no-roll octagonal travel case is included as shown in the "everything photo." (Picture #2) As a collectible, this one is super-rare and super cool. The movements is modified Swiss ETA movement so a buyer should have little fear in terms of future parts or serviceability for this well into the foreseeable future. We do not offer a warranty but will work with you to make any post-purchase repairs via advice on where to go and what to do (with no profit for us but paid for by you). Everything we sell is working fine for all functions when it leaves our facility (or more specifically the safe deposit box where our watches reside). In some cases, we can go back to our source and get the watch repaired for free based on our relationship and reputation. We should always be the first port-of-call if there is an issue. 100% delighted customers so far and we aim to keep it that way. Please examine the pictures, what you see is what you get. The only exceptions are the black case that we photograph on and the English Bull Dog which we put in our group shots because we think it looks great. The Bull Dog is a James Bond tie-in and we kind of really like James Bond. Thank you for your consideration, Scott
