The finish is glossy and was produced circa 1943. The DeLee Art Pottery company of California was in business 1937-1958. The artist Jimmie Lee Adair Kohl designed the figures, and a team of artists were given the ability to be creative in the hand painted decoration on each. The faint embossed marking on the bottom and also has the company sticker with DeLee Art California Hand Decorated. Please look at the pictures for the best view of the figure. This measures approximately 7 1/4" high. This is in vintage pre-owned condition with general crazing, as seen. Inside the planter portion shows signs of dirt.
