Listed for sale are Dell 4Y5H1 PERC H330 SAS RAID controller cards that have been flashed with Dell HBA330 IT (Initiator Target) firmware version P16 (specifically 16.00.11.00). I also flashed the LSI/Avago MPTSAS2 BIOS ROM version 08.37.02.00 and UEFI 18.00.03.00 so that it is easier to access the controller's ROM without booting an OS. THESE CARDS NO LONGER HAVE RAID FUNCTIONALITY. Includes ONLY FULL PROFILE PCIe bracket. Dell HBA330 IT mode firmware version P16 (16.00.11.00) MPTSAS2 BIOS ROM flashed version 08.37.02.00 MPTSAS2 UEFI ROM flashed version 18.00.03.00Original SAS address preserved These HBA controllers are based on the LSI SAS3008 SAS controller chipset and support PCI-E 3.0 specifications with x8 lanes, providing up to 7880MB/sec bandwidth between this card and your system! The controller has 2 SFF-8643 connectors, each carrying 4x 12Gbps SAS lanes. You will need a compatible cable to connect these to your hard drives or a backplane. This controller shines when used with SAS-3 SSDs. CAUTION: Although these Dell cards can work in non-Dell machines, some motherboards (mostly Gigabyte or HP, not exclusively) will conflict with the Dell SMBus signal.
