Description: Large growing epiphytic dendrobium orchid species that grows long thin deciduous canes of light green leaves that produce in the spring clusters of large very dark purple blooms with a very dark almost black deep in the throat. These are just stunning and delightfully scented, a great plant for the dendrobium collector. Easy to grow, these prefer very high light to almost full sun and a slight cut back on water as they loose the leaves to promote lots of blooms. Large flowering size plant in mounts.Currently Leafless (12/1/2024) until the spring.Limited Dendrobium plant leaves may turn yellow or drop shipping, its a common reaction to being in the dark for several days.
