Description: Depression Era Townsend National Recovery Plan (early pension) event ribbons. The Townsend plan was supported across the nation as a pension plan for seniors to help revive the country during the depression. Started in 1933 and was a driving force in Congress enacting our current Social Security. Ribbons are generally in good condition but with no pins or other attachments and appear to be from 1930s to 40s. Believed to be mostly from Omaha and surrounding area. Please see all photos that include additional detail and condition information. Happy to combine shipping where applicable.
