This annual festival takes place in the historic downtown area and features a range of activities, such as street performers, musicians, and dancers dressed as characters from Dickens’ novels, including Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol, and others. The late, Jeanne-Marie Dickens, the founder of the Charles Dickens Heritage Foundation, has been recognized for her social sensitivity, empathy, and positive thinking, earning her the Life Goes On!
