(Be sure to look at my other items). I have been acquiring Department 56 Christmas villages for many years. In the past I displayed most of my villages each Christmas. Through the years, I kept receiving them as gifts and kept buying them, but I stopped displaying them all. Over the past couple of years, I have been slowly letting go of most of my collection. Almost all of my pieces are in their original boxes. None of them have any damage and still light up beautifully. Some of them were never displayed. They are all in beautiful condition, for sure! This auction is for the Department 56 "THE ED SULLIVAN THEATER" #56.59233 from the CHRISTMAS IN THE CITY SERIES. It is in mint condition in its original box with the original light. I may have displayed this a couple of times over the years. It is honestly in mint condition. The only mentionable imperfection is a slight tear to the corner of the box sleeve. It was issued in December of 2004 and was retired in December of 2005. The Ed Sullivan Theater is most famous for the Beatles' first appearance on American television on the Ed Sullivan Show on February 9, 1964. The building is located on Broadway Street in Manhattan, New York. You will receive exactly what you see in the photos I have provided.
