This is a 6-SIDED SCALLOPED PLANTER JARDINIERE. Handpainted in vibrant polychrome colors. FLORAL, SCROLL & SHELL motif. Scalloped top edge. Reticulated. Handles attached, secure, intact. Hallmarked appropriately on underside of base “FF” (photo). Circa late 1800’s. NOTE - Only some minor glaze chipping noted at edge of bottom rim (last photos). Raised textured surface. Measures approximately 7 1/2” height to top of handles, 6” height to top of planter, 6 1/2” top opening, 10” handle to handle, 4 1/2” base. “Rouen” traditional decor. Would make a fine decorator accent to any country cottage, farmhouse, French decor. High glaze finish. Otherwise, VERY GOOD, antique, preowned, used condition.
