Description: Rare set of dishes by Dick Knox Pottery. Dick Knox had his studio in Laguna Beach, CA on Pacific Coast Highway in the early 1940’s. He produced dinnerware for only a short time 1942-1950. His pieces are highly collectible and sets are extremely rare. Deep purple glaze with an all over floral design, scalloped edges on plates. Absolutely beautiful. This set of 13 includes: 4 Dinner Plates 10”D 7 Saucers 5.75” D 2 Tea Cups 3.5” x 4.5” x 2.5”H The dinner plates and Saucers all have some chips. Mostly to the rims. The tea cups are in excellent condition with no damages. Please note that this set is unsigned or stamped dating it to very early in his production, 1942. Please feel free to ask me any questions.
