This die cast vintage toy truck has rubber wheels and is 6 inches long. Exceptional detail. Modeled after the 1950’s American LaFrance Classic Pumper & Rescue. Fire Engine red with bumpers, headlights, tools, rear doors, controls and equipment highlighted in bright silver. This toy was made by Midgetoy, Rockford, ILL. The toy comes in a cellophane bag with a top tag stapled on. The top tag is bedecked with the Midgetoy elves, and says, Jumbo Size Fire Truck, and is marked 25¢. It is dated ©1957. We found a few boxes of toys like these in an old dime store. Typical age patina. Excellent condition. We pack it carefully and send it by first class mail.
