DiMarzio Stratocaster Guitar 1980s - Sunburst

Description: Here is a Vintage Dimarzio StratocasterIn the early 80s Dimarzio sold all the parts you would need to build a quality guitar. They used many up and coming manufacturers which ultimately became some of the best guitar and parts companies.The body was made by Charvel, some consider these bodies of the Pre Production or PrePro era. It has been finished in a light nitro sunburst.The neck is a mid 80s Japanese Dyna Gakki made neck. Very similar to the feel and workmanship of the Fender necks of the era from Japan.The tremolo is branded Dimarzio, these were made by the "Brass Factory" which also supplied Tremolos, Knobs and other parts for Charvel and other guitar builders. This was run by Gary Kahler who would later create the Kahler Tremolo company and the Brass Factory would continue on. They are known today as Merlin 5 and still supply Charvel with parts for the custom shop.The tuners are also Dimarzio branded and were made by Gotoh, they are excellent tuners and very sought after today.Pickups are early 80s Vintage SDS-1 high output pickups. They sound great but still have that single coil hum.Includes hard Case
