It looks like it's probably been moved on and off a shelf several times which slightly rounded the outer corners. It's barely discernable. Pages are clean, white, no writing, highlighting, bending or tearing. Binding looks new but when you open the book, you can see where it wants to separate from the pages. It's just a hairline crack. I've owned two of these books and both have had the same issue, so I'm guessing EVERY book from this publisher with this title is going to have that issue. For the silly price you have to pay for a new copy, you'd think they could make a quality binding with a bit more glue. I'm offering it for quite a bit less than other sellers on Ebay. I can promise you that their copies will have the same problem. There was only one publishing house with this book. I'm just disclosing the issue and discounting the price because of it. Is it going to fall apart on you in the first semester? Of course not. I suppose if you use it for the football in the quad it might. It will be fine for you, and it will be fine for the person after you who purchases it. It will get you through your course as well as the next copy will. If you need brand new, I see some very expensive copies for sale here on Ebay. They will have the same problems after a month or so of throwing it in a backpack. The book is basically new with my downgrade for those less than perfectly sharp outer corners and that spine issue. See pictures and evaluate please. Next day shipping
