Lettering is raised. I purchased this on a trip to Disneyland as a souvenir. However, I never wear t-shirts because I don't like the way my arms look so I end up just storing them. This is a hard to find very nice, embroidered t- shirt with gold thread edging on the logo. I tore of the size/care tag for some reason (can't remember it was almost 20 years ago). This is a true collectible as this ride is gone and never coming back to Disneyland. You can keep it to wear, store, or put behind a glass frame for decoration.
