Description: Divided Legacy: A History of the Schism in Medical Thought by Harris L Coulter, Volumes I, II & III This extremely rare three volume set established its author, Harris Coulter as a leading figure in the American homeopathy movement. Coulter would letter to go to become a prominent vaccine skeptic. Finding a physical copy of just one of these volumes is extremely difficult. Finding all three in hardback and not cheap reproductions? Likely impossible. Notes on condition: The dust jackets are in rough shape, although these three books do indeed come with them. As you can see in the picture, the dust jackets have quite a bit of damage, years, fading, etc. The books themselves, including the hardcover clothes boards, are in excellent with condition. Bindings are tight and all pages are secure. No notes or highlighting—pages are clean. No tears, broken bindings, missing pages. No unusual odor. There’s a small cluster of pages on the first volume that have a very small stain on the page edge in roughly the middle of the book. This is a very small defect and in no way affects readability. The back board on vol. II has some paper from the dust jacket that appears to have gotten stuck to it. It does come off but I will let the buyer handle this in the manner they see fit.
