Monsell Publisher:The Bobbs-Merrill Company Release Date:1944 Seller Category:Childhood of Famous Americans (COFA) Qty Available:1 Condition:Collectible: Very Good Sku: 240125 Notes: 1944 Copyright Vintage Collectible Hardback Book with Dust Jacket. Inside text is in Very Good Plus condition with a tight binding and clean crisp pages. Inside text is nice and appears to have had little, if any, use. Inside text literally appears to be UNREAD! There is a vintage name plate inside the front cover, which has no name written in it. At the top of the first blank end page is written "Merry Xmas 1954 from Aunt Florence". Unfortunately, whoever "Aunt Florence" gifted this book, does not appear to have read it! No other writing or marks in the book. Outside orange cloth covers are nice with very minor corner wear. Dust Jacket is price clipped ($1.50) and is in Good Plus condition with some edge chipping and also some smaller missing pieces at the top and bottom of the outside spine. This is NOT an ex-library book, but has come from a private collection. Dust Jacket is now covered by a new clear mylar cover. A very nice classic book!
