Description: Up for bid is a striking lithographic poster designed by the acclaimed American artist DONALD JUDD for his first exhibition at the Leo Castelli Gallery (NYC) in 1966. This particular example is an authentic licensed reprint that was published by the Judd Foundation in 2020. This reprint edition sold out quickly, and is now very collectible. Donald Judd designed the poster for his first solo exhibition at Leo Castelli Gallery, New York (February 5–March 2, 1966). Artist-designed exhibition posters were a signature part of the program for this influential gallery, which represented artists such as Lee Bontecou, Dan Flavin, Claes Oldenburg, James Rosenquist, and Cy Twombly. Judd exhibited regularly with Leo Castelli in dozens of solo and group shows through the 1980s. The print is in very good condition, with a few small soft roll creases as shown. Never framed and printed on a sheet of medium weight yellow woven paper which measures 23" x 23". Authenticity guaranteed. Item will be shipped to all US locations in a sturdy tube via USPS. All foreign bidders will ship via ebay international delivery.
