Phillips began her career as a stage actress. She made her film debut in 1911, and appeared in over 150 films during her career. For a while she was nicknamed "Kid Nazimova" for her ability to imitate Alla Nazimova. This vintage real photo postcard, measuring 3.5 x 5.5 inches is in fine condition showing light signs of age and toning. Verso bears original graphics featuring an advertisement for Phillips in the film "Man-Woman-Marriage."
