Description: Welcome to my Store, this listing is for a pretty Drawstring Bag handmade using an up-cycled piece from a vintage and preowned 100%cotton small Kitchen Tablecloth with hand embroidery and hand applique design of the famous "BELLE picking flowers in her Garden", this piece is in excellent gift condition. Measures:18 inches tall in the center from the bottom to the top, 16 inches wide from side to side and 2.5 inches wide in the gusseted bottom. This Bag is very strong can be use as a laundry bag with no problems, you can hang it from the long white loop in the top and is perfect to use as a gift bag because was made as a drawstring bag and is easy to open/close, the pretty and well done hand embroidered and hand applique Skirt and Bonnet of the Belle were done by the original owner, the original piece was soak, hand wash and press with no starch before the sewing was done, because I have to cut lots of damages I combined the original piece with a brand new 1/4" red and white medium weight woven 100%cotton fabric to form the bottom part of the bag using a navy blue rickrack machine sewn in between the fabrics for a whimsical accent and use a brand new small red and white checkered ribbon with small round red wooden beads at the ends to form the closing drawstring top, is easy to open/close the bag just pulling/stretching those ribbons, is the perfect piece to start your own collection of one of a kind pieces of vintage hand embroidered Linens, to add to your existing collection or to display it in a very special Room/Armoire/Closet, you will love it!, comes with a handmade tag.
